Privacy Policy

Short version: everything you enter stays in your browser. We do not use cookies and we do not collect personal data.

In-browser processing

All calculations happen in JavaScript on your device. The values you type are never sent to a server. To make results shareable, your settings are written into the page URL; that URL is only shared if you choose to copy or bookmark it.

Analytics

We use Vercel Web Analytics to count page views and a few anonymous events, such as clicks on the copy, preset and language buttons. Vercel Analytics is cookieless: it does not set cookies, does not use local storage for tracking and does not build profiles across sites. Visitors are counted using a short-lived hash that is discarded within a day.

Hosting and contact

The site is hosted on Vercel, which processes standard server logs such as IP addresses for security and reliability. We do not run advertising, do not sell data and do not embed third-party trackers. Questions about this policy can be raised through the project's GitHub repository.

Changes to this policy

If we ever add features that process data differently, we will update this page before the change goes live and note the date of the update here. Because the site has no accounts, there is no personal data for us to export or delete on request.

Frequently asked questions

Does FluidClamp use cookies?

No. Neither the tool nor its analytics set cookies.

Are my values stored anywhere?

Only in the page URL in your own browser. Nothing is saved on our side.

What do the analytics record?

Anonymous page views, the page language and a few button events, such as copying a value or picking a preset. No personal data is collected.

Can I use the tool without analytics?

Yes. Content blockers that block Vercel Analytics do not affect the calculator.
